United States Industrial Safety Association Announces New Advisory Group Member
[Omaha, NE] - The United States Industrial Safety Association (USISA), a leading organization dedicated to promoting workplace safety and enhancing industry standards, is pleased to announce the appointment of esteemed professionals to its Advisory Group. Committed to advancing safety practices across various industries, the Advisory Group members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to USISA.
Fay Feeney is our newest Advisory Group member. She leads a global practice at Risk for Good. She brings USISA extensive experience in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, safety, and sustainability and supports the association’s strategic direction, stakeholder insights, and partnerships with the business community.
Fay is most passionate about ensuring leaders in the c-suite and the boardroom prioritize workspace safety, health and wellbeing as a growth and profit driver. As the focus of safety includes more psychological, psychosocial, and health factors, Fay understands that leadership needs the whole person to show up for work. Fay explained, “this expectation requires a more holistic workspace culture to be integrated into business strategy. With the ability of AI to transform work roles we need leadership to think about how these changes will impact people at work.”
Looking further into the future, Fay sees massive potential for the worker impacting their environment through augmented reality. This technology would connect workers with virtual and real-time assistance and information providing insights into the operating environment. Additional passive data collection to improve workspace analytics will expand this insight.
Fay is engaged with many industry and professional associations including National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) where she earned the designation of Fellow. Her advisory board roles include the NACD Pacific Southwest Advisory Board and the Digital Directors Network (DDN) Advisory Board.
USISA's Advisory Group plays a vital role in shaping the organization's strategic initiatives and promoting safety awareness at a national level. Their collective knowledge and experience will help guide USISA in providing valuable resources, training, and advocacy to improve safety practices across the highest hazard industries in the country.
"We are grateful to welcome such a distinguished professional to our Advisory Group," said Abby Ferri, Managing Partner at USISA. "Fay's expertise and insights will strengthen our efforts to enhance workplace safety in the highest hazard environments and continue to innovate the risk management resources available to our members.”
